Recent Layoffs

The Guild continues to meet with the company about the recent layoffs. Several issues about the layoff process have come to light this round. None of these issues ended up having an impact on this round of layoffs, but they could in the future. These issues include how many rounds of bumping are allowed and how seniority is determined in different classifications and after a bump. The Guild has also asked several questions about where work has gone in the laid off areas and is making sure work is being handled appropriately.
