October Negotiations Update

Portland unit

TNG Legal Services has accepted and will pay for the legal costs of the ULP related to not paying negotiation team members. The law firm of Barr & Camens is still researching the complaint. The Guild and company have continued to do sub committee work in the job description area.

Waterville unit

No meetings are scheduled. The main point of contention continues to be the company’s proposal around jurisdiction, which would allow outsourcing of Guild work.
