Message from Bernard Lunzer

I want to express my support for the agreement you will soon be voting on. Your local leadership has worked long and hard to get to this place. They won't tell you the deal is perfect, or there aren't sacrifices. But the agreement represents a bold new chapter for Portland and Maine, and for Guild members throughout our union.

The industry is in a dire situation. But you have the chance to keep your properties operating, and gain real input into the ongoing business. I respect the choices you have to make, but I wholeheartedly believe they will serve you well.
