Merger between the Guild and Portland Typographical Union

The Guild is excited to announce that the merger between the Guild and Portland Typographical Union has been accepted by the CWA, our parent union. A new charter is being issued to the Local and the PTU, representing members in composing and IT, will become the third bargaining unit of the Guild. Formal notification to the company will be coming shortly.
