Layoff Notice Given to Guild

The Guild has been given 30 days notice of impending layoffs. The company indicated that up to 35 full and part-time employees represented by the Guild at the Portland Newspapers and Maine Today will lose their jobs. The Guild and the Company will meet to discuss the impact of this decision.

Further communication will be forthcoming as it becomes available.
