MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING
The purpose of this Memorandum is to set forth for the parties' mutual understanding that the term "Act of God" as a cause of temporary suspension of the Employer's operation as provided in Article I, Section 1.6.1, Job Security List of the Agreement between the Employer and the Union is meant to include conditions beyond the control of the Employer such as fire, flood, energy crises, fuel shortages, newsprint shortages, and material shortages.
IN WITNESS THEREOF, we have hereunto signed and executed this Memorandum of Understanding this day of ,2004.
